Company History and Milestones
The Chitale journey began in 1939 with Late Shri Bhaskar Ganesh Chitale, who revolutionized India's dairy scene with his groundbreaking vision. His legacy was carried forward by his sons—Bhausaheb, Rajabhau, Nanasaheb, and Kakasaheb—who expanded the family business, leading to the creation of Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale in the 1950s by Raghunath Chitale. While Nanasaheb and Kakasaheb focused on dairy in Bhilawadi, Bhausaheb and Rajabhau grew milk retailing in Pune, setting the stage for future expansion.
The third generation brought modern innovations, propelling the brand into new markets. Today, Kedar and Indraneel, the fourth generation, blend tradition with cutting-edge ideas. Chitale Bandhu now boasts over 300 distributors and a global presence, with 250+ products, including traditional sweets and health-focused snacks like Bingebar and Chitale MSquare.
